It's Time To Play..... Otterflogger's "Name That Cockpit"!

OK, "Ladies and Gentlemen", time for "installment #12" in our "cockpit series", which will be a continuing "brain-strainer". No "hints" this time!

This is the "cockpit" of "the" ......................

*MYSTERY SOLVED!*

It is the cockpit of the "V-22 Osprey"! A fine machine to transport "Marines"! "Sturdy Dan" recovers from his "gaffe" and wins the "sailboat fuel"! Thanks for all the comments, guys!

The "Marines" are on the way!

Comments:
it is a chinook whirlybird

-the new sas dockhand

Can't be a Chinook, the CH-47 has a centerline window, which this bird lacks...

It is a helo, though!

damn, i should have caught my mistake there, oh well, im not so much with whirly birds

well the photo file is cockpit chinook - so I'm going to have to go with that one. You're slippin Steve

Hey, "Sturdy Dan", I eat "barbed wire" and wrassle
"moose"! I ain't slippin'! You are "far too gullible"!
Do you think I would put a cockpit picture on my Blog, ask people to identify it correctly,
and actually "name" the picture correctly? I wasn't born yesterday! Try again,
Buddy!

Cheers,

Steve

Steve, would that possibly be the cockpit of the new updated UH-1Y with "glass" avionics?

Ben in Lac Du Bonnet

Nope, I retract the UH-1Y guess - the "glass" doesn't match the inside of the Osprey.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...

Bell/Boeing V-22A Osprey

Ben in Lac du Bonnet, I think you were looking at the B model with the updated glass.

Had to learn a thing or two about whirlybirds to figure this one - note the gear and flap actuators, not many helioclopters with those.

P.S. Thanks for the schoolin Steve
