Steve's Video Of The Day: "Bail-Out"!

The early aviation pioneers didn't wear parachutes, and during WWI, "chutes" were available, but many refused to wear them. More than one pilot jumped to his death from a burning airplane. The "ejection seat" was a fantastic innovation. As the aircraft got bigger and faster, a method was needed for "quick egress". Well, the ejection seat allowed just such. As you can see from the video, sometimes "lightning quick" decisions were needed to "punch out"! (Watch the A-6 go-around off the carrier near the end, where the boys think they lost their aircraft, they "punch out", and the A-6 decides to continue without them. Hilarious!)
