Steve's Video Of The Day: Douglas "DC-3"!
The Douglas DC-3 is probably the most famous airplane of all time. Known for it's reliability and robustness, many still fly to this day, over 70 years later. It served admirably during WWII, and it is a proud member of "Steve's Aviation Hall Of Fame"! Hey, what other aircraft can you power up with a full load, accelerate, "kill" the engines, re-power them up, continue the take-off, become airborne, climb away, and set off all the car alarms in the process? Only one aircraft I know of, the DC-3! Don't believe me? Watch! Gotta' love any aircraft that sets off car alarms!!!!
