"Canadian Girl" Returns Home!

A couple of days ago I received some information that a famous "Canadian Girl" was returning home for some "surgery", and to begin a new chapter in her life in Ontario. I have never been "intimate" with this particular "female", but I certainly have been with numerous of her "sisters". I have seen pictures of her, and she is still shapely. Actually, for being born in 1960, at 45 years of age she is in outstanding shape. Makes me "crack a fat"! Two-legged female? Nope, two-floated Otter!

Forde Lake Air Services purchased this Otter from Australia, and have returned it to Canada. It is a 1960 DHC-3 Otter, S/N 373, formerly Canadian-registered C-FBEO. In Australia, it was registered VH-OTR. It was loaded into 2 containers, and it spent 7 weeks on a Russian container ship before arriving back in it's "birthplace", Canada. "Welcome Back, K(anadian)Otter"!

Forde Lake Air Services is looking to install the Pezetel 1000 HP engine on the Otter, and have it flying from Hornpayne, Ontario, in May. They have an Air Base on Government Lake, and already run a Cessna 185 and DHC-2 Beaver, so the Otter will be a nice addition. Let's have a look at a "fine Canadian girl" that has returned home!

Congratulations, guys, on returning an Otter to Canada. Thanks for the pics, and good luck with the "conversion" and the upcoming "float season"!
