Steve's Video Of The Day: "Hindsight" Is Always "20/20".......

On May 4, I published a post entitled Steve's Video Of The Day: Boeing B-52 Stratofortress "Obliteration". It detailed visually what happens when there are a string of leadership failures. Today, we see some more video and hear some extra info regarding previous events that led up to the crash. It actually amazes me that anyone would board an aircraft piloted by this man. Apparently the co-pilot, Lt. Col. Mark McGeehan, had tried numerous times previous to have the pilot, Lt. Col. "Bud" Holland relieved of duties for "flagrant violations", but he continued to fly. Too bad, because he took good men with him when he crashed, and destroyed their families. Once you watch the footage, revisit the tremendous analysis written by Major Tony Kern, USAF, entitled "Darker Shades Of Blue: A Case Study of Failed Leadership".
